Green is the new pink, in the smoothie world. Vegetables in blended form may sound off-putting, but when made correctly, green smoothies are truly delicious. They can also work wonders on a stale (or non-existent) breakfast routine or on the vegetable-averse eater.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen banana
1/4 cup frozen mango
handful of fresh spinach
1-2 tablespoons ginger juice (I used about 1/2 T freshly grated ginger)
1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 cubes of ice
